Anna Wimbledon
Anna Wimbledon studied at Central St Martins and Edinburgh College of Art. She lives in East Lothian, Scotland. She sees herself as a painter of figures in the broadest terms, working with energy and bravura preferably on a large scale to create compositions around friends and acquaintances. Her paintings are characterised by a sense of theatrics and sometimes an ironic homage to master painters of the past.
