Charmian Pollok
Charmian Pollok specialised in printmaking at Glasgow School of Art. It was here that she made her first, tentative attempts at making her own paper. Since graduating in 1992, her handmade paper has become her main medium of expression, not always simply as a carrier for print but as a medium in its own right. Ovet time she has developed considerable expertise in making papers from plant material as well as from the more traditional fibres.
