Suddenly Science Falls Silent and Mythology Speaks (1992) is a photography of a wooden chair in an unruly grassy garden upon which the artist has superimposed a diagram and a sketch of a bee. There is a surreal feel to the piece, because of the slightly oversaturated colours of the photograph and the contract between the impeccably-delineated chair in the centre, surrounded by what seems like an abandoned and overgrown garden. This is heightened by the juxtaposition of the scientific graph and the eerie photograph.
